I think a merger of PPG and CKL makes sense. PPG would likely sell its rigid plastics business to PGH so it has more capital for flexible business purchases/mergers and distribution businesses.
The management changes, namely new chairman and CEO next month are a prelude IMO to some bigger corporate moves. Both of these gentlemen have much more experience with larger corporate and specifically packaging businesses, not to mention they are close Ruffy associates.
