speculation, in a nut shell, on why sp moves?, page-5

My experience:
Bought it 6 months or so ago as a very short term trade (gotta stop looking at that day trade forum....). It started dropping. Kept on dropping. I doubled up to an average cost of 29c. Kept on dropping. Decided it was way oversold and put it on watching brief. Yawned for 6 m - 14c ping pong game - then suddenly it went up 20% or whatever in a day and I got out at 35.5c with a decent profit. Thank god I dont use stop losses. Never will. Appreciate that does not work for most people and I'm not recommending it for most.

Its probably a good long term hold but that wasnt why I bought it (I dont follow that sector at all) so I was delighted to be out (eventually).
