NGX (AIM:NGL) closed in London at 12.25p (19.5c) after peaking at 13p (20.5c).
Gold stocks were generally up with Randgold extending their gain on the Nasdaq to 4% on the increased gold price.
A lot of confidence on the London AIM market with two thirds of gold stocks up on the day, extending gains up to 17%.
