My feeling is that one day a real big boy ( e.g BHP, or a major, like Shell ) will buy out the whole Cooper Basin for its oil and shale. Or else they may be a 'dutch' auction as a number of players bid the Cooper into the stratosphere. Hopefully the latter.

The likes of BPT, SXY, ICN, COE and others will all go at healthy premiums. It won't happen all at once but it could easily happen within the next couple of years.
