CBA has BankWest ~ Colonial and Aussie and other bits and bobs? And WBC has StGeorge, Bank of Mel. and Bank SA? and other, but is/was offloading wealth management to refocus on banking?
NAB and ANZ don't have much fluff on the side. Seeming different approaches. NAB wanting SUN loans and more Qld customers https://www.retailbankerinternational.com/news/nab-interested-in-suncorps-bank/ (from May 2022).
Many SUN customers are Queenslanders and if NAB took them over tomorrow, the Queenslanders would close their accounts on mass in 2032, once they realized that SUN bank was no longer a Queenslander.
