OBJ's original point of difference was to develop a physical product applicator that would overcome the extreme use of chemicals in all things product related.
They got the applicator right but if you read the contents on any cosmetics jar, you wonder why humans put this stuff on their face and other body skin locations.
One word - Marketing. It has made people and organisations a fortune.
Maybe OBJ should have gone down the path of linking their physical applicator with a cannabinoid cream or similar. Forming a collaboration with a company in this space and join forces to take on the traditional old powerhouses that control the market.
Physical application with the elimination of chemical based face creams.
That would have got the market pumping.
Currently they are trapped with no self identity - just another supplier on the P&G list.
