I think we'll see something like the following.
-PLS get's 5% at $18-20...raising a quick 100M
*This means it's likely Patriot never needs to raise ever again.

-They then sell/JV/farm-out 20-30% of CV5 to PLS for $300m-500m in cash.
Taking CV off the table for Patriot. Then PLS develops CV5 on its dime and buys out PMT at set milestones over the next 5 years.
Likely topping out at $2B max.

(with PLS having their 5km of the 50Km strike.)

*This gives full upside opportunity on CV5 now.
*The PMT SP takes off with $450M+ in the kitty and 70-80% of a $2B asset with 100% ownership of the other CV's.
*Full financial resources to put 5 exploration/drilling teams at each CV over the next 2 years.
Likely, 50+ drilling rigs in total and 1000+ staff.
*Sets the framework to do the same deal with MIN/RIO and others while likely keeping 1 or 2 of the CV's for themselves.

Corvette is just too big for PMT itself. (Blair has said this many times.)
If your job is to reward shareholders, this is the go.
If you don't do the above you'll just spend 5+ years drilling and the market will never fully value you.
-Is it valuing PMT now while LTR sets at $5B with a larger /more valuable asset?

Then you need to raise $1-2B to build the plant. Deluiting shareholders. SH's hate that.
You then take on all the risk and time factor of building the mine.

Say each CV has 100-300Mt of Li. Great, is the market over the next 5-10 really going to give to full value as a whole?
$20B-30B ? The market likes NOW, not 5-10 years.

If you owned 20-30% of each CV and got full value NOW and let the farm-in/JV partner do all the work and spend all the CAPEX...That's the smart play.
It's a great deal for PLS too and others.
The MRE is about to come out. Likely around 150Mt and growing.
PLS get a massive new Lithium asset and pay it off over the next 5 years and own 5-10% of PMT.
-They only spend 500M of their 3B cash up front.

They are cashed up and need to spend it wisely to grow their company.
The above deal or something like it does that.
Both PMT & PLS shareholders win big time.

Somewhere in the mix there may even be a Lithium Hydroxide plant deal with funding from the Feds and Provinces.
PLS owns 40%, PMT owns 20% and GOVS own 40%?

Ken sees all this. He knows where the market is going.
Knows about the PMT/PLS assets and how to increase shareholder value.
Always bet on smart guys who have their own money in it...you'll always do well.

Let's see what Ken and Blair come up with on Wednesday.

disclosure: I am a shareholder of PMT! I don't like downrampers and shortsellers, but I also dislike guys who are trying to pump the SP with pure speculations
