It was not my thought that they would willingly cut us off
It was more the point that we are reliant of a minimum of 33% of our export trade to them and our governments reliance on Chinese money coming into Australia, not to mention the increasing amount of Chinese control in business
All of which would be drastically reduced if China had an economic meltdown caused by the US trade or other factors.
If their trade faltered due to currency wars, or trade wars or their own internal problems, then we would be in big trouble immediatly
If the US dollar collapsed after that would not matter much to us
