No proof but an indication of the expectation out there that extreme methods are being considered or done and it would be normal for Australian government to so so in secret rather than blab it like the Fed
I have maintained that the US dollar collapsing is far less important to us than the economy of China which could takes us out overnight as we are so reliant on their trade and good will, so we do not have the benefit of the possible two years before the worst happens IE collapse of the US dollar
The thing is the Fed may not be able to do much about their situation but Australia could take concrete steps to fix our problems to make us more watertight straight away
Although we live and play in a world situation, Australia as was shown in the last GFC can be sufficiently fire proof to just get singed
Australia was previously independent of the world with little MUST HAVE requirements to be supplied by the rest of the world
That has changed as we now are reliant on so many things like oranges and petrol but we could reverse this trend but it would take a brave and strong, intelligent government to do so
