waymax, planning for a new port at Oakjee is fairly advanced and given the number of mid west iron ore developments that need it you can be fairly confident the WA government will get it up and running. Existing rail lines run fairly close to the proposed mine they just need to be upgraded to cater for heavier loads.

I do not know much about Cameroon but to get such big infrastructure in place in Africa will not be easy.

I am a GBG holder and prior to the merger proposal was happy to accumalate as many as I could get. It was a no brainer. But I believe with the proposed merger the risk factor is too great and am considering reducing my holding.
