Do people have unrealistic expectations of shares like GGG? This stock is firmly in the speculative category as was CVI. While no one wants poor or dishonest management adding to the risk it is a reality of the market. There are ways to mitigate the risk. One way is not to invest to much of a portfolio of investments in these stocks. Another for people who dont mind risk is to have a number of different spec stocks and hope the winners more than compensate for the losers. This is basic stuff, every one knows this. It is good to warn people of risks and inform them but I think some of the postings here have gone beyond that. The shares seem to be holding up under the criticism so far and I would imagine the media speculation is common knowledge now. It must have been a good letter Rod sent out. Ive kept my shares and sold something else for the cash I required. I have no idea how this is going to end. Changed my sentiment to hold.
