Logic can be useful when doing the technical analysis required for short term & day trading.

In my experience time spent on research into company projects & company fundamentals result in greater profitability for those that endeavour to invest for the long term.

Technical analysis could be used to identify a buying opportunity on a long term stock, but you can't identify it without doing the hard yards.

Understand it's quite difficult to do this with a stock like OBJ where so little information is available to us, but not impossible.

Coming from a trading background myself I can understand how it can be difficult to switch off the "logic" button, but fundamental research is an entirely different beast.
