I am just concerned that when you say "magically disappeared", it sounds like you are suggesting it disappeared to hide a possible OBJ involvement. Instead it seems to have been a practical day-to-day business action.

I agree that Glyn's claim to have never heard of Ariel was dubious. As soon as the P&G ann came out I wrote here that I thought it made his claim dubious. It would reflect poorly on him if he really didn't know that Ariel was part of P&G's range by that stage. So what's the explanation? Either he was pouring cold water on the Ariel claims on these threads or he was covering a real involvement. I would say it is the first.

I reckon Ariel detergent is off the table. Some other pre-wash stain remover is likely with those patents you mention.
