Since EAR is in trading halt, which could possibly mean a takeover offer from NST (or maybe even some other company and thus a potential bidding war ?) it just occurred to me me, that if NST is really taking over EAR, wouldn't it make sense for them to take a stake in HMX as well?
Just a speculation, but if we assume that NST is taking over EAR (we should know until Thursday), the next logical step for them, would be to repeat the process and finance a larger drilling program for the next neighbor, which is HMX.
NST is drowning in cashflow at the current POG and forking out some millions for a stake in HMX would be peanuts for them, but a game changer for HMX.
Very interesting developments in the area at the moment.
