Speculative Buy Mincor Resources (MCR)
MCR has announced plans to protect its operating margins and cash flow from current weak nickel prices. Capital expenditure will be halted at two mines, Miitel will be closed from Christmas, exploration will be reduced and focused on the highest-value targets. Other cost initiatives should see cash costs continue to fall and Mincor expects to remain cash-flow positive above $US2.80 a pound with its current hedging.
