'We'll have around 30M+ in the bank already when BP comes knocking'.
Conversely, if we don't have the 30M+ in the bank ... what then?
It seems virtually agreed here that the options will make it into the money, and like (almost) all of us, I share that hope.
But consider - for the BPs it would be great if the options expired worthless, helping them to pick us off cheap. It's totally in their interest for the SP to be manipulated down, not just for a lower bidding start, but also hoping the options fail.
Good to see that those in charge are confident this won't happen.
