My understanding or should i say speculation is that these posts have already been decided off the table. By law the company needs to advertise the position to keep the process fair( cough cough), sorry I think i just got a bit of cold.
I reckon RJ and the management have already made some progress with talks of expansion/takeover, but they need someone very qualified to take over the full responsibility....
