Pixie, you've got to read his whole report
When he says 'wrote off' all he is saying is he closed down his account from last year, and is starting again with a new portfolio for this year.
He uses the term 'wrote off' for all stocks held over from last year.
This year he has actually increased his stake in QHL from around 5.000 shares to currenly 20,000.
A very good sign IMO
