That's the risk. It could definitely cause more short selling. The name of the game right now has been short first, ask question later!
The fact remains, is that if sentiment turns from fear --> greed, then we could get a sustained rally with new blood involved.
The problem is that sometimes lots of these large swings are played on credit/cfds/shorts.
ie: a shorters position isn't ever really "real"...
In any case - dow futures are off significantly, so you may have done the right thing Moped...
