    Did you know that the Amber light is on for average 4 seconds...at 60kmh at vehicle travels 16.67 metres per second. That equals 66.68 metres per second...add in reaction time of at least .5 of a second and you will take 75 metres to stop. On a wet road a bit longer and a bit further.

    Many people get a red light camera fine because they are close to the intersection and rather than put everyone's head into the windscreen they opt to keep going and the light turns milliseconds before they cross the line...no questions asked no argument entered into...
