    "if you reach the speed of light, wouldn't you experience the equivalent of a sonic boom as you would when reaching the speed of sound?"

    was thinking we might call it a photonic boom? all in theory of course.

    I noticed once the Star Ship Enterprise experiences a flash of light as it enters a warp - at least some one's on the case...
