Considering the speed of light is approx. 300,000 Km per second ,(actual 299,792.458 km per second), then
1 light second is approx.. 300,000 Km
1 light minute is approx . 300,000 x 60 Km
1 light hour is approx. 300,000 x 60 x 60 Km
1 light day is approx. 300,000 x 60 x 60 x 24 Km
1 light year is approx. 300,000 x 60 x 60 x 24 x 365 km.
I have read that some distant galaxies are at least 1,000 light years across.
Therefore that distance would be approx.: 1,066,530,000,000,000 km.
or One thousand and sixty six trillion, five hundred and thirty billion km.
Just interesting. Time on my hands …...
