As someone else on this forum said,
$1 to $0.50 = 50% loss
$0.50 to $1 = 100% gain (sounds good doesn't it?).
All relative to your starting point. 20% gain is not that much when we have been battered so much. It's like trying to get up after being knocked out by Mike Tyson only to realise you've fractured your eye socket and jaw and lost a handful of teeth.
