pharmaboy, most of the serious T bone crashes in the US are just straight right angle crashes, that is through traffic against through traffic. There are many instances of red light runners going through 4 or 5 seconds after the light has turned red mostly at fast speed. Talking on mobile phones, distracted looking at a TV on the dashboard, etc. Not making the TV bit up, only now is the US enacting laws prohibiting TV sets forward of the driver.
If you are a shareholder or even just attend a RDF do ask the Traffic CEO to show you some of the video clips taken by the Redflex systems in the US. Scary stuff indeed.
