Has HTG’s business model been blown out of the water?
So HTG bought the tech and changed its name. The little Aussie rattler and it’s shareholders are winners? Maybe not.
What followed the purchase was 100’s of LEO satellites being launched and operational. Coverage problem mostly solved.
Of course there will be shadows. There will be a remote drone that needs coverage. Digigone or HTG can accomodate that market. But what is its addressable size? Not much, imv.
Imv, the massive increase in supply of bandwidth doesn’t favour HTG’s business model to attract material contracts in the near term and will stress the business.
Imv, HTG is left to fill a small gap in connectivity that may not support its ASX listing if sufficient funds can’t be sourced.
Administration, sale and smaller markets may be the way forward until bandwidth supply is overcome by demand.
