A "yes" to 2(a) requires POS to contact the ASX immediately to discuss. The nature of the statement in the ASX letter does not make it optional at the discretion of POS.

A "no" to 2(b) requires POS to contact the ASX immediately to discuss. The nature of the statement in the ASX letter does not make it optional at the discretion of POS.
".....if the answer to this question is “no”, you need to contact us immediately to discuss requesting a trading halt (see below)."
Therefore POS will be talking to the ASX either tonight or tomorrow pre-open to discuss.
More is to unfold here, in the short term.
I had a nagging feeling earlier this afternoon that the market would open tomorrow with the company in a halt. I'm not yet 100% convinced now that this will be the case but my nagging feeling is escalating the more I think this through.
