I have also been monitoring the decrease of nickel held on the LME stockpile. On the 31/1/04 it was 15,684 tonnes and today it's 13,986, down 444 tonnes from the day before. If the Falconbridge strike continues and they use up all the nickel they have in the pipeline then who knows how far nickel prices could run.
Hopefully AUZ will pick up the pace and catch up to the recent gains of my other picks TTR and MCR.
