I'm a newbie looking to get into a few stocks and iron ore seems to be the hot topic at the moment.

I came across Sphere on the back of Minmetals comments about looking to purchase iron ore projects in Mauritania. I see that they have a JORC resource of 2.7Bt so far, which would certainly interest Minmetals after the Rio episode as you suggest. The following article also touts Sphere as a current favourite of billionaire investor Ken Talbot.

However, looking at the posts on HotCopper there seems to be little interest in this company apart from a couple of die hards (sorry guys!). The Stock price also absolutely tanked at the end of last year (although it has more than quadrupled since) and is still way off its highs. I like the look of this stock but it worries me why it's all so quiet out there. Is there something I'm missing? Will anyone ever read this? Hello!!!!!!!!
