From my recollection, Allan Burns used to be the MD of Sphere Ltd, formally Alltrack Ltd, then Airboss Ltd, were mainly involved in the development of non pnumatic tyres developed for the earthmoving business, they were a segmented tyre system, showed lots of promise, but as with lots of new technology failed to be commercial. He passed the reins to his son Alex years ago.
They were the first spec share I ever purchased, probably 13 years ago or so. Still have the original share certificate.
