I think they're still being manufactured but competition from the majors drowned them. Airboss America, which no longer has any relationship with Sphere Ltd were making a small profit, and sales were mainly in Canada and USA.
From memory shares traded as high as $ 1.20 in the early 90's, but since then the shares were consolidated from 10 to 1.
The system worked by way of unbolting a segment of tyre once it was punctured and just replacing the punctured section. They were apparently a more comfortable ride for the operator and easier to repair than solid tyres.
