re: spi got sold off gann45 yea that’s certainly a good analysis.
Stocks are hard to do it on as they normally don't have a large fall to work off or have enough data. Gann scattered this info all around the place, like read his Speculation a Profitable profession (the 1958 version from memory), in like the first paragraphs he is talking then randomly he puts You must know the largest fall and the largest rise, makes absolutely no sense to the surrounding stuff, but this is why he posted it.
There seems to be a growth cycle in the market that those percentage moves tie in with, its only when it ties in with the time component that the growth cycle is complete and the market reverses, thus why its said time is more important then price.. I did some research on the weekend on the All Ords to see a possibility as to how its growth cycle has evolved since the 1987 crash, I have not released this work simply because people would not enjoy it, it’s a hard read, only did it for my own records.
However I am sending it to someone else on here once my PC is fixed so flick me an email at [email protected] and I will send it to you, shows the path I have taken recently, you should like it. If you enjoy doing what you have just posted.
