Apologies if this is a mundane question as I am still a novice in regards to trading. Now I seen a question pop up about the optional shares earlier, which got me thinking. So to my understanding an optional share is offered at a discounted rate of purchase with a set expiry, if the share price does not hit the target price on the required date then the optional shares are void and you lose your money... but if the price is hit on or before the target date, the shares are converted to normal price holdings. Please correct me if my understanding is wrong. Now I have tried to find information on the web and CommSec in regards to purchasing optional shares and anything around them really, but to no luck. So where can I find information on optional shares in particular KRCOA ? If the share price hits 10c before the required date are shares automatically converted to join holdings with the company ? It seems like a gamble to me but if you are confident with a companies performance then it could pay of easily. Any information or shared links in response would be greatly appreciated.

You have the option to convert to shares by paying 10 cents per option that you hold, it does not happen automatically .It is fresh money that you have to put in
