The badly flood affected section of track at Inverleigh, Victoria on the Melbourne - Adelaide line where an SCT intermodal train derailed on Monday 14 November was reopened at about 1900 hours this evening, a week and 12 hours later, with the first train passing through at about 2030, not long ago.
It's a Perth to Melbourne Pacific National intermodal, so now GNC grain trains from western Victorian can again reach the North Geelong Grain Loop.
