I'm not so sure a lot of investors here would be aware of Dr Mahartir's prior attitude towards Australia many years ago when he was Prime Minister of Malaysia? - he had a striking arrogant indifference towards Australia - almost to the point of "Chip on Shoulder" white Anglo-Saxon disdain. His approach towards us was rude.
So for those expecting DrM and his cabinet to suddenly intervene on this issue and out his Science Minister Yeo as the renegade green loony she is - think again. He knows what is going on and would enjoy being part of a process that is bring anything Ozzie to its knees.
