If the Lynas plant were somehow forced to move, there would be such a lot of anti sentiment and bad press around the world that Malaysia would not be a consideration for setting up business. A magnet factory was interested in Malaysia but chose Vietnam instead. Wise decision. Siemens chose Singapore over Malaysia even though production will be far more expensive. Future businesses will pay a price for piece of mind.
