I suspect the number of consumers globally who boycott US made or owned products will come back to bite the USA, so in that sense it may well hurt. On the broader question, do you really think it would be prudent for an Australian government to publicly make an enemy of the USA in an environment where China has recently conducted military exercises off our coast?
