Writing to the Colossians Paul urged an earnest effort be made to "clothe yourselves with the new personality, which through accurate knowledge is being made new according to the image of the One who created it,"---(Colossians 3:10)
Since Adam's defection the only one capable of doing this perfectly has been Jesus who thus could say:Whoever has seen me has seen the Father also. How is it you say, ‘Show us the Father’?__John 14:9.
So while God is a Spirit (John 4:24) & man is flesh as are the animals, man is unique among fleshly creatures in being designed to perfectly develop godly qualities.
