traditionally, spirituality & religion were about humbling oneself in regards to man's dependent interrelatedness with nature, morality, a quest for social justice & selflessness

but today, it seems, many regard "spirituality" or "being spiritual" as self-affirmation

this means a person has a life journey of a perfect job, a perfect career, perfect money, perfect family, perfect bank account & instead of following the traditional path where one's world view may be questioned, this "spirituality" seems to ice the cake with self-affirmation

instead of questioning have I done the right thing with my life, this "spirituality" seeks the self-affirmation of 'I have done & I living right' & I am worthy of self-affirmation from God &/or the greater powers of the universe

does this ooze of spirituality?

can a "self-affirmer even judge or assess what oozes spirituality?
