Across much of the world COVID-19 in original and variant forms is now again requiring increasingly widespread lockdowns to prevent further exponential spreading which can occur from infected but pre-symptomatic persons.
Universal post-movement quarantine coupled with post-symptomatic testing and isolation and treatment (of symptoms) has proved useful and can remain so but is immensely disruptive of society and economy, and is not sustainable as the partial solution.
Vaccines seem to be (in the minds of people and governments) the "Holy Grail", but there is much more evidence needed before safety and widespread efficacy can be demonstrated, and the potential benefits of an effective universal vaccination program achieved. (Another issue here is how quickly the COVID-19 virus will transform (annually?) and how well vaccination will deal with this - noting that viral influenza vaccination is reformulated each year to deal with expected emergent variants of influenza and that it has reported 40-60% success rate).
What society, health and the economy needs is a reliable, low-cost, easily-deployed, rapid test that can detect COVID-19 at pre-symptomatic levels (ie high sensitivity).
A saliva-based test would be ideal.
ADO shareholders will know that ADO seems to be near to this.
But it will need a name!
ADO now names its products professionally - eg AnteoBind - excellent naming.
But for the COVID-19 saliva-based rapid test, ADO may like to reconsider its previous more-populist naming theme whereby the AnteoBind-type products were named Mix&Go - popular non-scientific appeal.

So for the new universal Anteo saliva-based rapid test for COVID-19, I am proposing it be named: Spit&Go.
How appealing will that be to the masses! One spit and you are free to go!
