I agree that lithium has a window of opportunity, what that is im not sure maybe 20 to 30 yrs. Something will likely make it redundant, super capacitors etc. So your right no point having 100yrs worth of lithium. Id expect it will be split into multiple mines with maybe 30yrs each, logistics of that im not sure on, but where theres will theres a way usually.
Having multiple companies pulling out of the one area can reduce costs and also enable them to squeeze out competition - not saying it will happen.
Be interesting to see how it unfolds when the new owners get it running, too big for it to sit untouched i think. Where theres money to be made it usually happens.
