weWe’ll actually be selling 5.8% spodumene as per the DFS and will be taking a penalty to the SC6 spot price for it. This was clearly mentioned in multiple places in the dfs and presentation as was the adjusted price expected to be received for our ore.
Im not sure though what the % penalty to the spot price is for 5.8% vs SC6. Then there are other factors apart from grade such as having minimal deleterious elements (low iron ore being key I believe) which we do have in our favour. I’m sure there are others who are more across this side of things than myself though if anyone wants to elaborate.
we do still have solid margins which are increasing with the SC6 price increases and are likely to receive excellent pricing as evidenced by the recent PLS auction of 5.5% (correct me if I’m wrong) grade ore.
