US and SA lithium miners all showing decent gains overnight, and PLS was slightly up on OTCM, while China's 002460, 002466 in the red. I guess the later are being knocked around by noise out of China, not the mention higher raw material costs potentially messing with their profit margins.
I'm seeing multiple articles wrt how high lithium prices are messing with EV's costs, put another way, OEM's having a whinge, poor darlings, sorry, lithium is irreplaceable, nothing new on the horizon, other than Solid State, which consumes more lithium.
I'd say to the OEM's, you'll have to suck it up for now, shoulda, woulda, coulda in the down cycle.
