Upstream, Spodumene concentrate with 6% lithium oxide content (SC6) was assessed at $3,500/mt FOB Australia Jan. 28, up $400/mt week on week.
"There are still margins for mid- and downstream users. [Spodumene] liquidity is very low. Even larger producers do not have sufficient material from their LTC, so I doubt there will be any spot offers," said a producer who pegged tradable levels to be at $4,000/mt
