If spot carb is anything to go by (and I believe it is) - looking at the growth of it from 21/01/22 ($44K USD/tonne) to 21/02/2022 ($74K USD/tonne), that kind of growth will soon be flowing to spot hydroxide as converters will be converting from hydroxide to carbonate for increased margins. Causing a larger unforeseen deficit in hydroxide.
My main question for the POSCO JV is whether they'll be putting product into the spot hydroxide market? If so, think our numbers (as usual) will be dwarfed.
