The bigger picture here is that Alkemy just become another PLS customer and therefore bidder on the BMX plat. They can pay what they need to in order to secure supply.
PLS wouldn't need/want to contract tons with them as the bus. is self funding now. Alkemy have stated that they have engaged a metals trader to underwrite the necessary spod volumes but no one is going to contract in this env.
In this respect I hope their idea gets off the ground as its only going to benefit PLS and every other producer that can feed the Port Hedland site.
