pp. I tend to disagree somewhat - whilst I agree some (possibly most) of the gov targets won't be met - I do believe that more EV's will still be sold en mass even at elevated prices. Demand will force pricing up.
People can always seem to find extra $$ when needed. We are already seeing gov grants in this area. Cars are also generally long term loan items for most. paying an added $5-10k over loan term isn't a great deal in context.
Lithium isn't getting any cheaper anytime soon - imho
