Thx for the reply timber but surely you need to compare monthly sales with the corresponding month of th previous year?

we all know total vehicle sales in Jan are lower than Dec for instance. it's been the same for all the years on record. so you can't compare dec to Jan in any years.

What is shown is a constant growth year on year and higher monthly sales (in that month) year on year.

I believe this is the narrative we are being fed and obviously you have reason to believe it too.

What is undeniable is that in 2023 more vehicles were sold total and also more in every single month cf the corresponding month of 2022.

There has been no slowdown of sales at all - as clearly shown by the graph you posted
every single month has sold more units that the corresponding month from the previous year.

To claim a slowdown is manipulating the data.
