I think you will find it is called seasonal adjustment- a std way to account for daily/weekly/monthly variations that reoccur annually.
Very few people buy cars in January for instance. they never have - ever. You cannot compare car sales in December with sales in January- never could and never will be able to.
it's like saying Christmas paper sales have plummeted in January as compared to December - so we advise there is a Christmas paper sales glut. - plainly ridiculous.
Or AFL ticket sales have crashed in November compared to July.....
Please desist from pushing a mom sales decline narrative. It is simply false.
The record sales figures achieved in December 2022 will be smashed in December 2023.
