Just out of interest & something obscure to ponder over the Xmas close, the correct molecular formula of lithium carbonate is actually Li2CO3 as each molecule combines 2 lithium atoms, with 1 of carbon and 1 of oxygen. I wonder if that single carbon atom causes any carbon credit penalties for manufacturers/purchasers as opposed to other lithium compounds (like LiOH, LiS, LiFPO4, etc) which contain zero carbon atoms? Maybe it matters not?
