Wholeheartedly agree. Leaving aside potential downstream processing ,as SH's our future profitability is currently dictated by the Supply/Demand seesaw [ Demand up- Spod price up- SP up ]
and the discussion put the spotlight directly on it.
To help forward expenditure/operations planning, the major players would have sophisticated models of the Li supply chain that are continually updated as reliable data becomes available. No doubt MIN & ALB well as IGO crunched heaps of data before entering into their recent deals.
These deals have been discussed previously on HC, but the consensus seemed to be, that by comparison, PLS was undervalued rather than the deals being on the high side.
